MCHS Valedictorian, Doris Sarabia & Salutatorian, Vanessa Guerra, were honored at RGV Partnership's 28th Annual Honors Banquet.

MCHS has earned a Bronze Medal from U.S. News & World Report in its annual ranking of high schools in the country. MCHS is among the top 30% of public high schools eligible for ranking by the publication. This marks the third year in a row that MCHS has earned this recognition.

MCHS History Teacher, Mr. Montemayor, was honored as a Semi-Finalist in the 2017 HEB's Excellence in Education Awards! He received a $250 Gift Card and was chosen from over 1,300 applicants. Mr. Montemayor was also 2015-2016 MCHS Teacher of Year. His dedication is inpiring! KUDOS MR. MONTEMAYOR!

Our seniors celebrated Decision Day by creating a pennant of where they would be attending school this upcoming Fall. Students from Cavazos Elementary came over to help commemorate this occasion!

We will be honoring our Senior Mission Merit Recipients and STC candidates for graduation Thursday, May 4th. Join us as we celebrate our Seniors’ accomplishments.
