Chromebooks 1 to 1 Initiative
MCISD’s Chromebook 1- to-1 is a district initiative that provides one Chromebook laptop for every student. Implemented during the 2013-14 school year, every freshman has the opportunity to check out a Chromebook and utilize this device for school assignments and instructional needs.
Before a freshman is issued a Chromebook, he/she must complete a Chromebook Student Use Agreement form; and, a Google Apps For Education/GAFE Student Permission form (English Version or Version en Español).
Once the student has properly completed and submitted these forms online, he/she will be directed to the LRC to pick up a Chromebook on the condition that the student follows the rules and procedures specified in the Chromebook and GAFE agreement. Once the student graduates from a MCISD high school, he/she will be allowed to keep the Chromebook device.
Mission Collegiate High School is determined to provide our students with the necessary tools and skills that will prepare them for college, career and lifetime skills.
