Mrs. Chapa-Leija has been with MCISD since 2004. She has taught: Professional Communications, Research and Technical Writing, Practical Writing, Journalism, Yearbook, English II, English IV, and English IV – AP. In addition, she has been MCHS UIL Coordinator, UIL Ready Writing Coach, and UIL Journalism Coach. She has a BA in Communications Studies from Loyola University, New Orleans and an MA in English from UTRGV.
