Welcome, Officer Gonzalez!

Hello, Mission Collegiate Staff, Students, and Parents: 

 

I am School Resource Officer David Gonzalez, Jr. with the Alton Police Department under Chief of Police Jonathan Flores. I am assigned to the Mission Collegiate High School, and am looking forward to serving all of you. My office is always open to staff, students, and parents with any questions concerns, and criminal complaints. I am an Advanced Texas Peace Officer Licensed with TCOLE for the State of Texas. I have 14 years of combined law enforcement experience, consisting of 1 year as a Temporary Jailer, and 13 years as a Patrolman. I am a graduate of the Laredo Community College Police Academy A-09, and graduated in 2009. I have a long history of family members in Law Enforcement in the small town of Zapata, Texas where my career started in the Zapata County Sheriff’s Office with Retired Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez, Jr., Retired Sheriff Alonso M. Lopez, and Now Zapata County Sheriff Raymundo Del Bosque, Jr. My career as a Police Officer took me also to the City of Rio Grande City, Texas, to the Rio Grande City Police Department, and Starr County Sheriff’s Office, where I worked under Chief of Police Noe Castillo, and Sheriff Rene Fuentes as a Patrolman. Staff and Students, we will have a great school year, and I will be looking forward to serving all of you,  thanks and God bless.
