MCHS Receives Congressional Recognition

U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar awarded Mission Collegiate High School with Congressional Recognition for earning the Silver Award in "America's Healthiest Schools" as part of the "Alliance for A Healthier Generation." We are the only high school in South Texas to be awarded the Silver Award.

Business Professionals of America Earn Letterman Jackets

They are the 2017-2018 Mission Collegiate High School recipients of a letterman jacket for Business Professionals of America (BPA). Students are required to be juniors or seniors, compete at the BPA Regional Leadership Conference, complete community service hours, and participate in the promotion of BPA.

Door Decorating Contest Winners!

We concluded a very successful Red Ribbon Week with the judging of the Door Decorating Contest. All our teachers did a phenomenal job! First place was awarded to Coach Rosales, second place went to Mrs. Krystania Sanchez and third place went to Ms. Cynthia Lopez.

MCHS Robotics Team Competes at SeaPerch

Our Robotics team competed at SeaPerch on October 6th in Harlingen, TX. SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) in an in-school or out-of-school setting (seaperch.org).

Sixteen MCHS Students are Advanced Placement Scholars

MCHS had sixteen students earn the coveted title of AP (Advanced Placement) Scholar. Senior, Chelsie Barrientos, was awarded the title with honors as she passed AP exams in the following areas: Human Geography, English Language Composition, Seminar, Spanish Language and Spanish Literature.
